LHS PROJECT GRADUATION

Over the past few years Project Graduation has become a tradition at Leander High School.  We are hoping that you will want to have a part in continuing this annual event!

The concept of Project Graduation began in Maine in 1979.  Seven students from one high school lost their lives before their graduation ceremony as a result of driving while intoxicated.  In an effort to prevent the recurrence of such a tragedy, the community began Project Graduation.  Now, Project Graduations are held all over the country.

Project Graduation is an all night lock-in party held on the evening of graduation, which this year will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008.  Seniors spend the evening celebrating their success with their peers and enjoying live entertainment, karaoke, sumo wrestling, games, movies, food, door prizes and much more.

School funds are not allowed for our use at this celebration, thus requiring private and corporate donations.  All funds used to pay for the party are raised through community donations and fundraising activities.  Please consider making a donation to the Leander High School, 2008 Senior Class Project Graduation.

What We Need:

Both monetary and other donations (food, prizes, etc) are welcome and very much appreciated! Your donations are tax-deductible and your support will be highlighted in our publicity materials throughout the graduation season.  It is through the generosity of businesses/organizations like yours that we are able to continue this safe and fun tradition for our graduates

If you have reached your budget for this fiscal year, please, please do us a favor and put us on the top of your list for the beginning of 2008.  We will need a huge amount of prizes to give away on the night of project graduation on June 6, 2008.  If you would like to donate, with a future date we would be most appreciative.
